Voiceover narration should tell stories that the camera, character action, and even great dialogue alone can’t. A winnner article. I usually stay away from voiceovers. However, this really trained my eye on what makes voice over work. I thought the film Sinners sprinkled in just enough voice over in the right place. Voiceovers are like great seasoning or hot sauce. Sprinkle in a little bit to add to that flavor but do not oversaturate the dish.
Thanks, David. I’m considering voiceover for my current script, and this gives me a lot to think about.
