We now have a tool to help you see how AI will probably provide coverage for your screenplay. You can get up to two assessments per calendar month. Use the Coverage & Notes dropdown menu to find and select “Gatekeeper Simulator Coverage”.
I definitely see the potential with ChatGPT for helping with pitch decks, script feedback, etc. I uploaded my logline for one of my scripts and asked ChatGPT to create a one-sheet. I was amazed at what it was able to do. For example, budgeting, marketing, etc. Yes, we need to be concerned about how AI negatively impacts our bottom line as writers, but we also need to understand it’s utility as a tool to up our game and put us back in the driver’s seat.
Sounds like writers need to spend more money on software and pitch decks to stand out. First get through the robots, then we take on the humans. Isn’t that the plot for TERMINATOR?
This article was extremely insightful. It seems the collaboration of AI and the human reader saves time and leans in on a collaborative strategy that could be beneficial in the future in terms of creating a high bar.
Thanks for the heads up.
