  • Oh yes. I have there before in the foxholes of adapting a book into a stage play. It can be an intricate balance beam of fulfilling the production’s needs and what the publishing company wants to happen — not to mention the actual author of the book. And I have been in situations where the client had a lot of money but did not understand the legal logistics of the industry. And, of course, you get the client that wants you to work for free. To that end, this article put the BUSINESS in SHOW BUSINESS.
