  • This is one that permeates in many screenwriter’s minds. Which door to pick? I have also wrestled with this question as I read the trades. However, this quote opened my mind to the right door for me. The quote stated, ” Do you want to make money or make meaning? Do you want a job or do you want your voice to ring out? ” Like a beacon of light in a horror film at the climax, this stirred my being in the right direction. Revelation.

  • Icons in the Ink was chef’s kiss, David. Great summary of how these artists charted their on path. I’ve been following Focus Features since Brokeback Mountain. You really need reps who are aligned with your vision and can help place you in the right rooms – not any room – but the RIGHT ones for your career trajectory. Thanks again for another gem, David.
