  • YES, YES AND YES. The film Hidden Figures does a fantastic job with racism and the antagonists in the story. Breaking Bad does a fantastic job of the buffet of personas — good people do bad things and bad people do good things. YES AND YES. Love this article.

  • In feedback, sometimes I’m asked why the antagonist is racist. I wondered how to explain something that is illogical. This article helps a lot in seeing the broader picture. What they tell themselves at night really hits the spot. Giving a glimpse of the core of their psychosis, may open the eyes of the audience to see the seeds of those thoughts in themselves. And yes, it will make the writing and the response to it – more powerful.
